Dear Families,

I am writing to highlight our club’s ongoing commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children (this includes registered athletes and younger/older siblings) involved in Cockatoo Little Athletics.

As an affiliated club, we fully adhere to Victoria’s 11 Child Safe Standards and ensure that child safety remains central to our operations. This includes maintaining Little Athletics Victoria policies, promoting a culture where children feel safe and heard, and ensuring all volunteers and families uphold the highest standards of conduct.

We have appointed a dedicated Child Safe Officer, Bianca Appleby, who is available to support members, athletes, and families with any questions or concerns.

Additionally, our Child Safe Documents Folder—containing relevant documentation, procedures and reporting information—is accessible to all families at any time, on our meeting table.
